It looks like New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith is already finding ways to spend some of the money from his new three-year deal worth a reported $17.95 million.

According to the New York Post, Smith was seen driving up to the restaurant Catch in the Meatpacking District behind the wheel of a Gurkha F5 armored vehicle.

The Gurkha F5 is made by Toronto-based Terradyne and is worth about $450,000.

UPDATE: It looks like the armored vehicle belongs to a friend of J.R. Smith. It seems Smith is more of a Bentley guy.

Thanks to Bob's Blitz for the find.
