Jimmie Johnson looked like he was going to take home the victory last year at this race, but he had engine trouble near the end of the race. Greg Biffle came from behind to win.
It was Biffle's second victory at the Pure Michigan 400, so look for him to try to defend his title. He will start 16th this year.

It's going to be a nice day for racing, according to Weather.com. The temperature is expected to be around 78 degrees when the race begins and climb as high as 80 degrees later in the afternoon.

The competition for the 10th spot is heating up. Getting an automatic spot in the Chase is what every driver wants, but drivers from the 11th to 20th spots will have a chance at the wild-card spots.
Only three points separate the drivers who are ranked 10th, 11th and 12th.
It's going to be a tight battle the rest of the way as Martin Truex Jr. tries to hold off his competition for the final automatic spot.
