Whiffle Baller Makes a Miracle Catch to Preserve a Victory
August 11, 2013
Konnor Fleming launched himself into internet stardom Saturday when he leaped over the right-field wall for a catch that will undoubtedly earn him a spot as a whiffle ball legend.
The Hardshells trailed by three with two outs in the final inning with a runner on, but Fleming secured a victory for his Crusaders by leaping over the Little Fenway wall to make the incredible snag.
The game was part of the Travis Roy Wiffle Ball Tournament in Essex, Vt., which raises money for spinal cord research.
