JR Smith Got Rid of His Blond Hair at the Request of Mike Woodson

J.R. Smith's blond hair never got the chance it deserved.

Earlier this week, some photos emerged of Smith's new bleached blond hairdo. Apparently Knicks head coach Mike Woodson didn't approve, and according to ESPN's Ian Begley, Smith was instructed to go back to his previous look.

This is how we imagine Woodson's reaction to seeing the hair (WARNING inappropriate language):

In an interview with Knicksnow.com, Smith indicated that he dyed his hair after watching Meteor Man and being dared by either Iman Shumpert or his brother that he wouldn't do it.

Smith has criticized Woodson's sense of style in the past, but Woodson's word as coach clearly has more sway.

Here's hoping that Smith continues to go Rodman a few more times before Woodson stops him.
