Miguel Cabrera Tripped over 3rd Base; Let's All Point and Laugh at Him

Even Superman has a Clark Kent moment every once in a while.

On Thursday night, the Detroit Tigers took care of the division rival Cleveland Indians, 10-3. It was one of four losses in a Detroit sweep that left the Indians now seven games behind the AL Central leaders.

With a great deal of hope lost and staring at an eight-run deficit in the fourth inning, Cleveland faithful had no choice but to sit back and enjoy whatever minor glimpse of brilliance their team might procure in this game—and then Miguel Cabrera tripped.

Oh, lucky day.

Sometimes the rain is coming down in buckets and your best suit is drenched, but the sun comes out for just a second, warming that smile that suddenly flashes across your face.

These are the beautiful treasures life hands over to you for free, like those sweet chocolate mints some restaurants have at the door.

In reality, Cabrera has the last laugh. He tipped his hat like a true gentleman, despite his entire dugout clowning him from afar.
