Should Arsenal Attempt to Sign Carlos Tevez?
Manchester United seem certain not to sign Carlos Tevez on a permanent deal and look set to offload the Argentinean in Summer. The striker has said he wants to continue playing football in England due to it being the best league in the world.
The Manchester striker who has 96 United appearances to his name 33 goals has been frustrated with the lack of interest from Alex Ferguson who has shown no interest in signing him.
With the former West Ham striker up for grabs it would be smart for Arsene Wenger to at least enquire about the Argentina international. Tevez who has expressed interest in joining Arsenal would be a perfect replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor, if the Milan deal goes through.

Adebayor looks likely to be playing his football at the San Siro for 2009/2010 with a deal of over 30 million set to be accepted in the Summer. The imposing Togolese striker has scored goals this semester but has failed to recreate the form that earned him his glory last season.
Tevez would cost well over 20 million which would be a record transfer deal for the Gunners. But with Arsenal needing to spend serious money this Summer in order to gain a much needed trophy, Tevez would be a smart buy.
The United striker would work well with Arsenal's star striker Robin van Persie as both play similar styles of football. Buying Tevez and Adebayor leaving, would also allow Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner to become the first choice "big" striker of team which would do wonders for his confidence.
Although Wenger did say he would not look to buy striker for 2009/2010 and concentrate on landing a quality midfielder or defender. I think Tevez would be a more than smart buy.
Should Arsenal attempt to buy Tevez, he would no doubt help Arsenal strive to finally break their trophy drought.
