Manchester United appear to have been dealt a final blow in their pursuit of Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona, but David Moyes has a contingency plan, according to one report.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been training alone as his attempt to force his way out of the club becomes increasingly bitter.

Fabregas (Barcelona), Fellaini and Baines (Everton) to Manchester United?

Manchester United's pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has not been a private affair, with David Moyes making two bids already for the former Arsenal midfielder.

New Barcelona head coach Gerardo Martino insists his player is going nowhere, according to Sky Sports.

Now Moyes is set to return to Everton for Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines after missing out on Fabregas, according to David Hytner of The Guardian.

Moyes will make a £30 million bid to his former club for the pair, claims Hytner, who also stresses the Old Trafford manager's wish to treat Everton with respect over his pursuit of the players. 

Luis Suarez (Liverpool) to Arsenal?

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is training alone as his transfer hopes become increasingly unpleasant, report Chris Bascombe and Luke Edwards of the Daily Telegraph.

The report highlights the strength of feeling from Anfield manager Brendan Rodgers after the Uruguay international's comments on Tuesday, as reported by Pete Jenson of the Daily Telegraph.

Professional Footballers' Association chief executive Gordon Taylor is mediating in the ongoing row between Suarez and his club, according to the report on Wednesday.

Arsenal are preparing to make a fresh offer of £51 million for the striker, report David Woods and Adrian Kajumba of the Daily Star.

The Gunners have bid for the striker already this summer, but Telegraph writer Henry Winter has offered an unflinching warning to Arsene Wenger over his pursuit of Suarez. 

Gareth Bale (Tottenham) to Real Madrid, Etienne Capoue (Toulouse) to Tottenham?

Another staple of the transfer gossip columns has been the long-running saga of Gareth Bale's possible move to Real Madrid from Tottenham.

David Luiz (Chelsea) and Daniel Agger (Liverpool) to Barcelona?

Barcelona are considering a move to bring David Luiz and Daniel Agger to the club this summer, as reported by Chris Bascombe and Steve Brenner of the Daily Telegraph.

The article claims reports in Spain suggest a £14 million bid has been tabled with Liverpool for the Denmark international, although the Reds insist no such approach has been made.

Chelsea have rejected a £35 million bid for Luiz, according to the report, while Martin Lipton of the Daily Mirror reports that the Stamford Bridge club will not consider negotiations until an offer of £50 million is made for the Brazil international.

Salomon Kalou (Lille) to West Bromwich Albion?

West Bromwich Albion are still hopeful of signing Salomon Kalou from Lille despite the player claiming he is happy to stay put, reports Brendan McLoughlin of the Daily Star.

Albion manager Steve Clarke has triggered a £2.6 million release clause for the former Chelsea star, claims the report.

If Kalou did decide to join the Baggies, he would be linking up with former Stamford Bridge teammate Nicolas Anelka, who has moved to the Hawthorns this summer.
