Ryan RudnanskyJun 8, 2018

Chelsea and Real Madrid will face off in the 2013 International Champions Cup championship on Wednesday at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla.

The two clubs boast impressive talent across the pitch. When all is said and done, the depth of each squad may determine the final outcome.

Both the Blues and Madrid have made some key signings ahead of their respective league campaigns this summer. From the midfield to the back end, some high-caliber players are anxious to get off to a running start with their new clubs (some already have).

Here's a look at some of the new additions to each club who should be in the center of the action on Wednesday.

Chelsea

Andre Schurrle

Andre Schurrle, acquired from Bayer Leverkusen for a smart fee of £18 million in April, is considered one of Chelsea's biggest prizes this transfer window.

The 22-year-old posted 11 goals and seven assists in 34 appearances in the Bundesliga last season, while also notching two goals and one assist in five appearances in the Europa League.

Known for his passing, dribbling skills, long shots and finishing ability, Schurrle scored a goal against Milan in the semifinals on Sunday.

Marco van Ginkel

For a £9 million sum, Chelsea picked up Marco van Ginkel from Vitesse Arnhem this summer.

Like Schurrle, he is considered one of the Blues' key signings in this transfer window.

The 20-year-old midfielder is widely considered to be a rising star. He scored 22 goals in 100 appearances for Vitesse, making his debut at the age of just 17.

Last season, Van Ginkel posted 11 goals en route to being named the Dutch Talent of the Year. The Blues can't wait to see what the youngster has to offer in the next five years at Stamford Bridge.

Real Madrid

Isco

Acquired from Malaga, Isco has been the highlight addition for Real Madrid this summer.

The 21-year-old midfielder posted nine goals and one assist in 36 appearances in La Liga last season. He also notched three goals and three assists in eight Champions League appearances, earning a reputable rating of 7.69 from WhoScored.com in the process.

In the International Champions Cup, Isco has notched an assist. That was against the Los Angeles Galaxy in Madrid's 3-1 victory.

The Spaniards are hoping Isco's fine play continues in La Liga and the Champions League next season.

Dani Carvajal

Dani Carvajal was acquired from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of €6.5 million this summer.

The 21-year-old defender posted one goal and seven assists in 31 appearances in the Bundesliga last season, earning a rating of 7.63 from WhoScored.com in the process (20th among all players in the Bundesliga, La Liga, Premier League, Ligue 1 and Serie A).

The youngster's passing ability, dribbling skills and positioning to thwart offensive attacks have earned him high marks throughout the football world.
