Wenger Out! Wenger In! The Split of the Arsenal Fans

I have seen the division of the fans, some say Wenger should be gone, others are "keeping the faith." This is the first time that there is such a division between the fans and this is down to the fact that there has not been silverware for more than four years.

I think it would be harsh and rash to sack Wenger at this stage of the season and why would the board do it to someone that has been so loyal over the years. The thing that is needed to be done is to lay out the pros and cons of sacking Wenger and that might help some fans make a genuine decision in relation to this topic. 

Cons:

1. His unbelievable stubbornness, in relation to the transfer market.

2. Tactically, he isn't the most astute man. 4-5-1 today, when did this ever work at home? Hiddink and Fergie are better in this department.

3. His policy on the youth has hinder our chances of success in recent years.

4. Not offering players over 30 more than two year deals, didn't Giggs just win player of the year? Plus I would love Senna in the team right now. This policy isn't gonna attract anyone above 30.

5. Cannot spot a defender to save his life, good at spotting a lot of good players but in the central of defence he is clueless. 

Pros:

1. Great at developing players.

2. Persists on playing good football.

3. Good with young players and gives them a chance.

4. The players support him, they have admiration for the man.

5. Doesn't risk the club with huge transfer fees that would make us the next Leeds Utd.

It would be best for the club to see if he can recruit some good players in the summer and get rid of that stubbornness in the transfer market. Plus Pat Rice is going in the summer, maybe he should look for an assistant with good tactical skills that could help him in the big games?

If we persist to fight for forth and next season that happens, by all means we should have serious consideration and ask ourselves as he got what it takes anymore. But until that happens and i don't think it will with a few signings, keep the faith, for now at least.
