A Force To Be Reconed With
The team that was a big surprise last season could end up being a bigger surprise this season. Nicks Saban’s Crimson Tide has had a tremendous break through in the past year, and if we can continue to win, bama could become the best in the nation. Just as easily though, we could become the worst team in the nation.
he attitudes of the team stink as far as the “team” goes. We have no positive attitudes when the subject of losing our final two games of the 2008 post season. The team believes that we should have been the national champions, but if we don’t snap back and play better than we did against the Utes of Utah, we could easily be one of the worst that the NCAA has to offer.
As far as skill comes though, Alabama is one of the Elite. Although we are losing five KEY seniors being John Parker Wilson (QB), Andre Smith (OT), Nick Walker (TE), Rashad Johnson (FS), and Antoine Caldwell (DT), we are gaining a more stronger team in the great recruiting classes of 2008 & 2009. We still have the great players who have had incredible seasons with the Tide. These being Javier Arenas (FS), Greg McElroy (QB), Julio Jones (WR), Leigh Tiffin (K), and Ali Sharieff (LB).
Many of the fans in T’Town believe that their tide have the best opportunity to be crowned national champions. With a huge season coming up Nick Saban will most likely be trying his best, and may succeed. His team will need to try their hardest to become successful, and whether they do it or not, I, speaking as a Alabama fan, am proud of my Crimson and White. Most fans should be, for none of us really expected to do what we did last season. They proved that miracles can happen by showing that you can bring a team that went 7-5 and losing to UL Monroe and Miss State, to a team that beats two top ten teams in the first five games, and beating Auburn for the first time in six years. This is Alabama’s Story that Alabama is in the process of writing! This is the Saban Era. This is the Tide’s way of saying, “We are back, and there is NOTHING you can do about it!”
Roll Tide! Roll Tide! Roll Tide! Roll Tide! Roll Tide! Roll Tide! Roll Tide!
