Andre Smith's 40-Yard Dash Is Still the Best 40-Yard Dash
July 27, 2013
In honor of the 2013 NFL season beginning in 40 days, we look back on the greatest 40-yard dash in recent history, run by offensive tackle Andre Smith of the Cincinnati Bengals.
At a svelte 332 pounds, Smith's 5.32 time at the 2009 combine wasn't bad by lineman standards, but the photos and video remakes have put it at "classic" status. Granted, Smith could have kept his jersey on during the workout, but when you've got it, why not flaunt it?
Despite being the butt of everyone's joke, Smith recently re-signed with the Bengals for three years and $18 million and is expected to start at right tackle this season.
