Hi hockey fans, it was difficult for me to watch two games on Wednesday night, and flip the channels –back and forth. Thank god for modern technology and the “CLICKER”. If I cast an opinion you don’t agree with — challenge me. If I have a player scoring in the wrong game — put it down to I haven’t learnt how to spell their name – or (to use an old baseball term) whose on second? In my youth there were only six teams and around 120 people to stay on top of now with 30 teams and well over 720 NHL players, it is just too fough! Last night it appeared it was only a matter of time before the Boston Bruins would find the back of the net against the Carolina Hurricanes  — and they did. The game seemed to be Bruins to lose and in the second and in a storm the Canes scored back to back goals to change the momentum in the rink. Fans were back in the geame and the party was on. Oops a little to quick as Boston tied the  game on a goal from Mark Recchi, midway in the third. So — here comes over-time for the second time Wednesday night. Jussi Jokinen made short work of the period, with a wrist shot at the 2.48 minute mark. Well — at least knowing the games are running late tonight I will not get an early night’s sleep tonight and at my age I do need my beauty sleep, Momma Gouche
