Who would have ever thought that the Boston Bruins would be on the brink of elimination, after their 4-0, decisive, sweep over the Montreal Canadiens. One would have thought that, after Boston took the first game 4-1 over the Carolina Hurricanes, that they were on their way to another quick series.

Not so fast however, Jussi Jokinen and Eric Staal have been the key to the Storms’ success. Jussi scored two go-ahead goals in this series, as well as 2 assists. Eric Staal contributed 2 goals to help secure the 4-1 victory, with his snap shot goal, giving him 40 points in his play-off career, and breaking the old mark of 39  points record held by Ron Francis. Sunday nights game should be a cliff-hanger and possibly the demise of the feisty Boston Bruins. The Bruins, who are obviously frustrated, will have to dig deep and get back into their usual form.
