Atlanta Falcons: Mini-Camp Update, Day 2

Day 2 of the Atlanta Falcons mini-camp started today.

Everything looked great and went smoothly just like yesterday, but there was one cause of concern.

Rookie Defensive Tackle and 1st round draft pick (24th overall) Peria Jerry (pronounced PUR-RAY) bumped knees with another player and was checked out by the medical staff.  Coach Mike Smith said he would give an update during the afternoon practice.

I will post the update when I get it.

Matt Ryan wasn't the only QB having the crowd and media in "Ooooohs and Ahhhhs".

Chris Redman connected with 2nd year receiver Harry Douglas on a 45-yard go route and John Parker Wilson showed off his arm strength by throwing two 40+ yard balls.

William Moore is a great athlete for his size.  The competition between himself and Thomas Decoud is going to be fierce.

Roddy White had an interview session with the media.  Here is one question and White's enthusiastic response:

Reporter: "You said last year during camp, you said "I want to make the Pro Bowl" and you did.  What crosses your mind this year?"

White:  "I wanna win the Super Bowl, so you know that's the next thing.  And you know we have a good team.  We added some parts from the draft and Tony [Gonzalez] gettin' in here"
