The Red Devils lost their opening match of the year to the Singha All-Stars by a score of 1-0. While the heat seemed to greatly affect the performance of the players, there is still little excuse for suffering a loss in that battle.

David Moyes and company need a much better showing this time around as they look to gain momentum heading into the regular season.

Manchester United Player to Watch: Wilfried Zaha

Obviously, fans will be excited to see the return of Robin van Persie. However, everyone knows what to expect out of the EPL's leading scorer.

This match will hopefully provide a great opportunity to see what younger players, including Wilfried Zaha, are capable of.

The 20-year-old forward spent last season at Crystal Palace and showed a lot of skill as both a passer and a scorer. Despite his age, he expects to have a big role with the first team this season.

Zaha looked solid in the last match, although he did not get much time on the pitch. If he gets more playing time in this contest, the club will be able to see what they have in the young player.

A-League All-Stars Player to Watch: Brett Emerton

The reason that these All-Star teams often struggle is because there is no cohesion between the players. Plus, players from smaller clubs get starstruck at the sight of Manchester United.

It will be up to captain Brett Emerton to help solve both of these issues. The 34-year-old veteran has great leadership qualities and should be able keep his squad focused on the task at hand.

Additionally, the midfielder has faced plenty of top competition as part of the Australian national team, and he should be able to lead the group to a quality showing against the Premier League club.

After losing 1-0 in the previous match, expect Manchester United to get more aggressive offensively as they try to get their first goal of the David Moyes era. Having Van Persie on the pitch will also help get the ball in the net.

With that being said, there are some talented players on the Australian squad's roster, and they should be able to get on the board at some point.

United should get their first win of the preseason tour, but it will be another close matchup.
