American Premier League Players: APL 2009

American Premier League Players: The APL is a Twenty20 cricket league based in the United States of America. The league is scheduled to start on October 6, 2009 and is owned and promoted by Jay Mir. It is unsanctioned by the ICC, the sports world body, and as a result is regarded as a "rebel" league.

APL has Launched six American Premier League Cricket Teams for 2009. The player signups for APL 2009 is in progress. Until now the following players have signed up for American Premier League 2009 Cricket Tournament:

• Inzamam ul-Haq

Inzamam-ul-Haq (born 3 March 1970 in Multan, Punjab Province, Pakistan), also known as Inzamam, nicknamed Inzy or the Sultan of Multan, is a former Pakistan international cricketer who was national captain between 2003 and 2007.

• Abdul Razzaq

Abdul Razzaq (born 2 December 1979, Lahore, Punjab) is a Pakistani cricketer and member of the Indian Cricket League since 2007.

• Rana Naved-ul-Hasan

Rana Naved-ul-Hasan (b. February 28, 1978 in Sheikhupura, Punjab) is a cricketer who plays for the Pakistani Test and One Day International teams. He also plays for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in England.

• Imran Farhat

Imran Farhat (born 20 May 1982 in Lahore) is a Pakistani cricketer who has played 20 Tests and 26 One Day Internationals for Pakistan, opening the batting in 47 of his 49 international innings.

• Imran Nazir

Imran Nazir (born December 31, 1981 in Gujranwala) is a Pakistani cricketer who represents his country at international level as an attacking right-handed opening batsman.

• Mohammad Asif

Mohammad Asif (born 20 December 1982 in Sheikhupura) is a Pakistani cricketer. He is primarily a right-arm fast-medium bowler. Early in his career he was compared to the Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath, known for extreme accuracy.

• Saqlain Mushtaq

Saqlain Mushtaq (born December 29, 1976 in Lahore, Punjab) is a Pakistani cricketer, regarded as one of the finest off spin bowlers of all time.

• Adam Hollioake

Adam John Hollioake (born 5 September 1971 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) is a cricketing all-rounder.

• Graeme Hick

Graeme Ashley Hick (born 23 May 1966) is an English cricketer, who played 65 Test matches and 120 One Day Internationals for England.

• Jason Gillespie

Jason Neil Gillespie (born 19 April 1975 in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian cricketer who formerly represented Australia at international level, in both Tests and One Day Internationals, and South Australia, Yorkshire and Glamorgan at first-class level. His primary role is as a right-arm fast-medium bowler, but he is also a competent lower-order batsman.

• Damien Martyn

Damien Richard Martyn (born 21 October 1971 in Darwin, Northern Territory) is a former Australian cricketer.

• Lance Klusener

Lance Klusener (born 4 September 1971 in Durban, South Africa) is a cricketer, more specifically an all-rounder.

• Nathan Astle

Nathan John Astle (born 15 September 1971 in Christchurch, New Zealand) is a former New Zealand cricketer.
