TNA Impact Wrestling: Rumors, News, Bound for Glory Update and July 11 Preview
TNA made the decision to go to four major pay-per-views a year, and that presents the opportunity to build standard episodes of Impact Wrestling as supershows.
Next Thursday’s edition of Impact (July 18) is Destination X, which will be treated as a PPV, and this week’s broadcast will be the go-home show for the extravaganza.
With a jam-packed episode that should feature the company putting the finishing touches on the top storylines, there is little doubt that TNA can make or break Destination X with how it treats Thursday’s edition of Impact Wrestling.

Bound For Glory Goes Joker’s Wild
The Bound for Glory Series is one of the most innovative concepts in wrestling over the last decade, but Thursday’s show will feature a major twist: a Joker’s Wild tournament with the winner getting 25 points.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What Are the Rules for This Competition?
Each of the superstars in the BFG series will be randomly paired with another member of the tournament and the six tag teams will square off in three separate matches. The three winning teams will advance to a six-man gauntlet and the last man standing will be awarded the 25 points.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Entertaining Matches
Almost every member of the BFG Series is interesting this year, and the hope is that Thursday’s broadcast matches up some of the best names in the company in unique bouts. The strange bedfellows concept can be amazing, but TNA has to follow through and give the fans great matches with an equally great finish.
Look for Bad Influence to square off against each other, Mr. Anderson to cost his own team the win and AJ Styles to beat everyone and take the 25 points.

Main Event Mafia Adds Another Member
The Main Event Mafia went off the board with their selection of Magnus as the fourth member of the group (no previous main event experience) and will be looking to add another star during this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Who Will Be the Fifth Member?
While the requirement for the first edition of the group was that the stars had to be former world champions, the inclusion of Magnus has thrown that out the window. Now that there are no tangible restrictions, the next member of Main Event Mafia could be anyone from Chris Sabin to Rampage Jackson.
Hype Meter: 2 out of 5 Lackluster Reveals
There is always a chance that TNA swerves the fans and brings back a big-name superstar, but the recent talk about cost-cutting measures and rumors about late paychecks, according PWinsider, has to signal that signing a new star is not the case. Impact Wrestling needs a huge name to be the fifth member of the group, but with all the current storylines and the Bound for Glory Series, it’s hard to imagine this reveal being anything but disappointing.
