AFC East: Who Has The Better Team

In 2009 the AFC East will be a division to contend with. At least three of the four teams will be playoff contenders and at least two could be considered Super Bowl Contenders.

What makes them so special?

New England Patriots

Bill Bellicheck - He is one of the greatest coaching masterminds in NFL history.

Tom Brady - One of the biggest steals in the NFL draft by being the last player selected in the sixth round. Since he has silenced the critics and has won 3 superbowls.

Defense - New England has always had a great defense because of the master plan of Bill Bellicheck. In the last few drafts the Patriots have drafted players who can make a difference anywhere.

Robert Kraft - The owner who has made this all possible.

Miami Dolphins

Bill Parcells - The man who has turned five different teams from the brink of being the worst teams to being the best.

Chad Pennington - Possibly the most accurate passer in NFL history. He may have a weak arm, but can be a game changer. He helped turned the Dolphins from a 1-15 team to an 11-5 team.

New York Jets

Rex Ryan - The defensive mastermind behind the great defenses of the Baltimore Ravens. He expects 110 percent from his players and he wants consistancy.

Mark Sanchez - The new face of the offense a young quarterback who is widely considered a franchise quarterback who is one of the top prospects in the past nine years.

The defense - With the additions of Lito Shepard, Sean Leonard, and Bart Scott the jets have been propelled to be one of the top defenses in the league.

Special Teams - The one consistant thing about the Jets in the last few years is their special teams. Leon Washington, Jay Feeley, and the rest are considered the best along with Mike Westhoff as coach.

Buffalo Bills

Dick Jauron - As a coach, he had a great season two years ago and last year was a bust. He will have a better year and a better team.

Trent Edwards - A good quarterback with no offense last year. With the loss of Jason Peters he will be on the run a lot and will make a lot of mistakes.

Marshawn Lynch - Suspended for three games for making a mistake. When he comes back, he will make a little bit of an impact for a team who has good potential.

Overall I believe that this year the AFC East will once again be the best division in the NFL.
