UFC 162 Live Results, Play-by-Play and Fight Card Highlights

Andrew SaundersJun 8, 2018

What goes up must come down! At UFC 162, the world of mixed martial arts saw Anderson Silva's reign atop the UFC middleweight division come to a stunning conclusion.

Despite being one of the most evasive fighters in the history of the sport, Silva was knocked out by challenger Chris Weidman whilst attempting to mock his opponent's apparently inferiority in the striking department.

Weidman became the first man not named Silva to strap the UFC middleweight title around his waist since 2006.
