LeBron James: NBA's New MVP
As I started off my day, there was nothing hinting towards a good outlook.
I was feeling miserable—I mean, really sick—and that is not something anyone enjoys, I assume.
However, there was a break through in the clouds of misery surrounding my day—I realized my favorite basketball player was just "crowned" MVP, no pun intended.
LeBron James is the epitome of what a basketball player should be. His willingness to set aside his personal accolades and think what is the best for his team puts him above the rest.
His stats this season:

After doing my homework on his stats over the years, LeBron statistically had two other seasons when he could have been named the Most Valuable Player. I guess I am bias when I say this, but he deserved the award on the two other occasions. But again, I love the Cavs.

I have engaged in verbal debates about who is the best basketball player in the NBA; I have always felt that LeBron is the best. I tell my friends this, and many times over they actually, without hesitation, laugh at me as if I am the crazy one.
I have put in bold print what years I feel LeBron also should have won the MVP honors.
Yes, I give props to D. Wade, Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Paul Pierce, Chris Paul, etc. But I still come back to LeBron as the best in the NBA. All of the little things that he does to make his team better is unheard of.
1. Unselfishness
2. Work Ethic
3. Team Leader
4. Willing to pass before shooting
5. Uses all of his teammates on the floor
These are just a few; and in no particular order, either.
I hope that LeBron gets the media scrutiny off of his back now. I don't mean the local media, I am talking about some of the other national media people out there who feel that he is overrated at times.
Let's get real now: Are MVP honors overrated?
GO CAVS!
Congratulations, LeBron.
