Is That a Warriors Fan With the Great Seats at Game 7 of NBA Finals?

Grant HughesJun 8, 2018

Based on a shot of the crowd during Game 7 of the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs, fans of the Golden State Warriors aren't big on conformity. Well, technically, "fan" in the singular sense is a more apt description.

One Dubs loyalist who inexplicably scored an expensive ticket to Game 7 in Miami refused to join the Heat's "White Out," instead opting to rock his blue Stephen Curry jersey. The odd move caught the eye of the guy who wears that jersey for a living.

It's hard to know how this guy ended up here. Maybe he's still harboring resentment for the way the Spurs ended Golden State's playoff run in the second round. Of course, there's also a simpler explanation.

Whatever the case, if either team needs a 22-point quarter to mount a quick comeback, it wouldn't hurt to give this dude a shot. We know Curry can take over games from the perimeter, so maybe the guy in his jersey shares that same skill.

Although, to be fair, it looks like his only real skills are yelling at millionaires and generally looking like a buffoon. Nonetheless, he's getting some support from the Twittersphere.

I guess it's somewhat admirable that this fan would show his loyalty in a hostile environment, but his wardrobe is really just more confusing than anything. What's he trying to say? Is he just confused?

There are a lot of questions here.
