Breaking News: Brett Favre Just Scratched His Nose (Humor)

First it was a cold, now it's another development with Brett Favre's nose that has people going crazy.

This time around, it's not the itch to play as so many people are talking about again, it's an itch the quarterback has just outside his left nostril.

It's been quite a while since we've seen a development like this, but it's obviously enough to set all the major sports media outlets, including Bleacher Report, going nuts.

Neither Brett or wife Deanna were available for comment, however, we can tell you that no serious injuries are being reported by the Favre camp.

ESPN has sent Favre's new text messaging BFF Trent Dilfer to report from the scene of the itch and Ed Werder is expected to be reporting from the scene as well in the next few days after he finds out who the Dallas Cowboys' fifth corner is currently dating.

The boys in Bristol have also planned a unprecedented seven-hour SportsCenter special for later in the week just in case any further developments become known.

In response to how the four-letter network is covering the situation, Fox Sports has sent Jay Glazer to get as much inside information as he can and Chris Myers to do a long and laborious one-on-one interview as soon as Favre decides to speak to the public.

Bob Costas declined the chance to interview the future Hall of Famer because he's currently writing a tribute to Michael Phelps for the next Summer Olympics.

Thankfully for the 39-year-old Favre, he has some Kleenex to deal with any possible runny nose situations. A recent visit to Costco prevented any future problems.
