Manchester United Transfer Rumours: Nani's Departure Is a Foregone Conclusion
Nani was inconsistent last season at Manchester United.
In the wake of Robin van Persie's spectacular season, expect Nani to be gone soon.

"With Monaco and Juventus both keen to sign Nani, the winger is understood to have told associates that he is ready to play in France or Italy next season after opting to end his six-year stint at Old Trafford.
"
Nani played just 11 games for Manchester United this past season, primarily because of the arrival of Van Persie, and he registered a mere one goal and two assists in the campaign, Van Persie exploded for 26 goals and eight assists, leading the charge as United won the Premier League by 11 points.
According to Ogden, both Nani and United are prepared to part if the club receives an offer of £8.5 million.
The truth is, United don't need Nani anymore. Not only has he been inconsistent, he's also a benchwarmer for the club now. Anything the club can get for him it will take. Such is the brutal nature of football.
And don't think Sir Alex Ferguson's departure means anything. New boss David Moyes is ready to plop Wilfried Zaha onto the first-team squad next month.
The problem now becomes whether or not United can even get £8.5 million for him.
Monaco has already spent more than £100 million this summer on Radamel Falcao and midfielders James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho. It's not like the club is eager to shelve out the dough for Nani, so Monaco has the upper hand in negotiations right now.
United may have to accept less for Nani in the end, while the 26-year-old will have to accept his fate, moving to wherever that may be. Those years when Nani had big moments for the club are history; he's now an afterthought likely to be pawned off.
The writing is on the wall for Nani. The ink just has to dry.
