Colin Kaepernick Would Like You to Look at His Enormous Shoe Collection

Colin Kaepernick has some serious sneaker game. 

At some point, athletes decided to gather all the shoes taking up space at their house and photograph them for posterity. The 49ers star quarterback is just the latest to make his sneaker collection accessible to his social media followers. 

Here is a stunning image he posted to his Instagram account recently. 

By my count, I would wager Kaepernick has roughly all of the shoes. 

I have no idea what one does with so many kicks, but he must take a few hours deciding which pair goes best with his jeans every time he walks out the door. 

As I mentioned, sending out images of a wall of shoes is sort of a trend with sports stars. We have covered pics of shoes before, but I think we need a refresher course on how athletes feel about their footwear. 

Most recently, Josh Childress, formerly of the Brooklyn Nets, sent out this Vine video showing the insane amount of sneakers he has collected in the past. 

He also supplies the perfect reaction as well. 

Then there was the Instagram picture from Richard Hamilton that proclaimed it took him all of two U-Hauls to move his collection. And then, Chris Paul showed us a classy way to display sneakers. 

By all means, if you happen to know of any more athletes sending out images of their museum of shoes, please let us know. 

As for Kaepernick, we will go ahead and allow such a crazy amount of shoes. The man earned it with a stirring season for the 49ers. 

And, as Mercury News reports, the QB is in fine form after his recent minicamp. Perhaps, it's time for him to head out to the mall and pick up a new pair to celebrate. 

Although, I don't think he would find any that he doesn't already own.
