WWE Payback: Will Kaitlyn vs A.J. Lee Finally Happen at This PPV?
Ever since their days on NXT, AJ Lee and Kaitlyn have been portrayed as having some sort of a connection to each other.
It started out as a friendship, but when AJ began to snap during her relationship with Daniel Bryan, the two Divas started down the path of rivalry.
This all came about with a few slaps from AJ to Kaitlyn, though over the course of the past few years, there haven't been a lot of one-on-one altercations between the two.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Their next encounter has been a long time coming and is set to be the most important one of them all, as AJ is the current No. 1 contender to Kaitlyn's Divas Championship.
Granted, most would argue that this match is not all that important in the grand scheme of things, particularly in comparison to the other feuds going on. Despite this, it is still the most important match in the division at the moment.
Payback's pay-per-view lineup has not fully been announced, but there will almost assuredly be space on the card to accommodate this match. Several wrestlers that were featured at Extreme Rules are currently out with injuries, and the matches that will be on the card won't need extra time for gimmicks (save for the Three Stages of Hell bout).
These factors, coupled with the fact that AJ and Kaitlyn have been interacting on Raw, spells a high chance it will be on the event's schedule. If we can assume that AJ Lee will win the title from Kaitlyn, the longer WWE waits to pull the trigger, the more difficult it becomes to stall without making things even more bland and uninteresting.
There are only so many tag team matches featuring the Bella Twins that AJ and Kaitlyn can participate in until the crazy former general manager will have her opportunity. That expiration date ends with WWE Payback.
Would it be a mistake for WWE not to have this match on the Payback card or would you still prefer for it to be left off for some reason? Tell us your thoughts below.
