MLB Predictions
Since baseball is my favorite sport and I consider myself a pretty knowledgeable fan I thought I would throw out my predictions for the season—division-by-division. So, here are my predictions, with little dialogue—just predictions and gut feelings.
AL East
I still like Boston to win the division but Toronto and Tampa Bay have some tools in place to make a run. The Yankees will always be in the picture but their pitching is suspect right now.

10 Scorching MLB Takes 🌶️

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
1. Boston
2/3. Toronto/Yankees
4. Tampa Bay
5. Baltimore
Sleeper: Tampa
AL Central
This is an extremely tough division to call—three teams could easily win it and Kansas City isn't a minor league team any more.
1. Detroit
2. Cleveland
3/4 Kansas City/Chicago
5. Twins
Sleeper: Kansas City
AL West
The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have dominated this division of late, but I think their pieces aren't exactly in place yet. We'll see if they get back in it by season's end. Texas has added some pop but I still question its pitching.
1. Seattle
2. Angels
3. Texas
4. Oakland
Sleeper: Texas
NL East
Mets seem like an easy choice but I just can't bring myself to pick them. This is probably my most surprising pick, again gut feeling. I feel three teams have a legitimate shot to win the division.
1. Atlanta
2/3. New York/Philadelphia
4. Washington
5. Florida
Sleeper: Florida
NL Central
All I have heard this offseason and all preseason is Cubs, Cubs, Cubs. Well, we hear every year how good they are and they never do too much. I don't think this year is any different. The Reds could make a run but a lot of youth, especially starting pitchers. Milwaukee pitching scares me too.
1. Milwaukee
2/3. Cincinnati/Chicago
4. Houston
5. Pittsburgh
6. St. Louis
Sleeper: Cincinnati
NL West
Arizona is young and talented with a solid staff. I question the Dodgers lineup. Colorado went to the World Series last year but I still would consider it a surprise for them to even make the playoffs again. The Giants just are not a talented team behind two young stud pitchers.
1. Arizona
2. San Diego
3. Los Angeles
4. Colorado
5. San Francisco
Sleeper: Colorado
