Harnik then made things interesting, with only 10 minutes remaining in normal time, when he completed his brace—finishing past Neuer after initially being stopped by the Germany No. 1.

Shinji Okazaki had an opportunity to level the scoreline in the third minute of second-half stoppage time, but his header did not hit the target and Bayern held on for a 3-2 win that completed a historic treble.
