NBA Playoff Schedule 2013: How to Watch Rest of Heat vs. Pacers Classic Series

If the Miami Heat get past the Indiana Pacers and reach the NBA Finals, they will know they were in a war. The Pacers have the perfect team to give the Heat fits and that's exactly what they've been doing.

If you haven't been watching the first four games of the series, I'd like to see your doctor's note that states you had surgery on both eyes, because that's the only valid excuse I'll accept.

The series has been a classic confrontation of contrasting styles. Through four games, things are all knotted at two games apiece.

For those interested in following the final two or three games, here is the information needed as well as a few story lines to follow the rest of the way.

Will LeBron James Get Consistent Help?

The Miami Heat don't have to shoot 54.5 percent from the field as a team like they did in Game 3 to beat the Pacers. That said, they can't afford to shoot 39 percent as they did in Game 4 either.

LeBron James has been spectacular—as usual—averaging 27 points, seven rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.4 blocked shots, 1.2 steals and he's shooting 50 percent from the field.

His team hasn't been nearly as good.

James' teammates shot 37 percent from the field in the two games the Pacers have won. The only way the Heat will win this series is if someone steps up and plays Robin to the King's Batman.

As great as James is, even he can't do it alone.

Should the Heat Be Double-Teaming Hibbert?

The answer to that question is yes—at least at times. When they do, the double needs to come from James and or Wade—whomever is guarding Lance Stephenson or Sam Young.

Stephenson has made some big shots in this series, but I will take my chances with him on the perimeter more times than not.

The Heat also need to test Hibbert's ability to make solid passes out of the double team. Miami has to do something to counter the size disadvantage on the inside.

Indiana Must Make Its Three-Point Shots If the Heat Make an Adjustment

The Pacers were just the 22nd-best three-point shooting team in the NBA during the regular season. They have had two very poor shooting nights from deep in the series already. 

It will be imperative that they knock down open shots if the Heat began to double Hibbert in the post. If they make open shots, they will play the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals.

The first four games have been entertaining, the conclusion should be just as good.
