England vs. Republic of Ireland: Watch All Goals from International Friendly
England and the Republic of Ireland played out a 1-1 draw on Wednesday in an international friendly match at Wembley in London. Both goals came in the first half, which also saw England's Daniel Sturridge leave the game with an injury.
Veteran defender Ashley Cole captained England on his 100th international appearance. The right-back completed all 20 of his passes, according to Opta, before being substituted for Leighton Baines in the second half.
Ireland opened the scoring in the 13th minute as striker Shane Long looped a header past England keeper Joe Hart. Seamus Coleman recorded the assist with a cross from the right. The goal appears in GIF form below (h/t 101 Great Goals).

It was the ninth goal of Long's international career. England responded quickly, equalizing 10 minutes later through veteran midfielder Frank Lampard.
Sturridge crossed from the left and Lampard remained calm in the crowded box to finish past David Forde. It was Lampard's 29th international goal (in 96 appearances), tied for ninth among England players with Vivian Woodward.

After setting up Lampard's goal, Sturridge left the match in the 33rd minute with an ankle injury. He was replaced by Jermain Defoe.
According to England manager Roy Hodgson via BBC Sport, Sturridge will not play in England's next match. Hodgson said he thinks Sturridge sustained ligament damage.
England's next match, a friendly against Brazil at the Estádio do Maracanã, is scheduled for June 2 in Rio de Janeiro. Ireland will host Georgia in a friendly the same day in Dublin.
