Cincinnati Reds Off-Day Nonsense

As you should know, the Reds finished April with a winning record thanks to a road trip that went better than anyone could have ever imagined. They’re spending the day in Pittsburgh where they’ll face off against their Central Division rivals, the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Reds and the Buccos know each other very well. They’re usually the two teams who are duking it out for who sucks less in the Central. So far though, both clubs look to be playing much better baseball than anyone is used to seeing. I’m going to refrain from making any predictions on the year for either team, though. Those usually backfire on me.

What I am going to do is some Reds look-a-likes. Let me know what you think.

2. Jared Burton = The Notre Dame Leprechaun

I have to admit, a guy over at Redleg Nation made this observation. I just thought I’d see how close it was.

That’s all I’ve got for today. I was thinking about doing one between Adam Rosales and a horse, but I didn’t want to come across as mean. I really do like that guy and I think he has the chance to win the job at third base. And I want you to know that I don’t hate Jerry Hairston or Jared Burton—just having some fun on the day off.

Anyway, I’ve wasted enough of your (and my) time for one day.
