Alex Rodriguez back in the News
Selena Roberts leaked exerpts from her upcoming book today, while A-Rod was busy in extended spring training, taking part in his first game, going 1-for-6 with a home run and two walks. He served as the DH and took it easy.
He will play against the Pirates in Bradenton, Fla. and serve as the DH tomorrow. In a few days, he will start running full speed and playing the field, and he should return to the Yankees in about 10 days.
As for Roberts' new book, well it's just sill. She obviously has a vendetta against A-Rod, and she makes it apparent when bringing up such who-cares-facts like A-Rod not tipping well at a Hooters. Other than the waitress that day, does anyone else care?

I don't think so.
Roberts doesn't help her credibility-cause by using verbiage like "he might have" and "he could have" throughout the book.
I am just an amateur, but come on, where is the journalistic integrity here?
I mean, no sources, evidence, or anything of the like?
I could sit here and say you may have or could have robbed a bank, but what does that mean?
Could have or may have I done steroids? Well, who knows.
This is just terrible journalism by Roberts, who, by the way, was wrong about the Duke Lacrosse case.
Listen, you got your big story by forcing A-Rod to admit he did steroids—now just end it. Nothing else is going to come from this.
I am glad A-Rod is saying "I won't go there." And that is all he and the Yankees will say until this goes away; good for them.
