The Program: 3 Dark Horses Who Can Go to the Rose Bowl

The Program@br_cfbSenior Writer IIMay 30, 2013

Most would say Ohio State is the clear favorite to win the conference and compete for the National Championship game this year, but you can never how a few dark horses will play out.

For example, the Nebraska Cornhuskers finished the season on a low note, losing a shootout to Georgia in the Capital One Bowl. But finishing the regular season at 10-2 and having playmakers Taylor Martinez (2,871 yards, 23 TDs) and Kenny Bell (50 recs, 8 TDs) return with one more year of experience gives Cornhusker nation something to be excited about.

CFB Analyst Elika Sadeghi breaks down the dark horses this year that could hold up the Big Ten trophy next season.
