LeBron James' Courage Yet to Be Tested by the Big-City Media

Adrain ParkerApr 30, 2009

I don't question the skills of this man-child—I question if he has what it takes to be placed under a microscope in a major city, such as New York, Chicago, or LA?

Can he leave Cleveland in 2010 and go to New York, and be scrutinized for off-court activities on a daily basis.

Can he play at this high level while living like Kobe Bryant and formerly the iconic Michael Jeffrey Jordan?  Will his game falter under the lights?

I know he is world-known, but Cleveland is not on a level with Chicago, New York, or LA as far as glitz goes.

When I think of Cleveland, I am fondly reminded of Drew Carey.  Nothing else comes to mind.

New York has Broadway, Chicago is that toddling town, and LA has stars and more stars!

We hear about everything that goes on in the life of Jordan, and Bryant, but unless LeBron is about to play a game, or is being featured in a movie, we rarely hear about his life.

We know Kobe has two kids, we know Mike has three kids. We (the public) don't know too much about LeBron, except he bites his nails when on the sidelines of games.

Be the man in a major city—show us your courage dude!
