Joe Dumars Should Be Fired Immediately!

Joe Dumars should be fired...the guy picked up Allen Iverson for Chauncey Billups, a financially-sound move, dumping a contract, I get that...but c'mon. Chauncey could have gotten the Pistons so much more.

What other players were on the table?  They could have picked up two sound players from Memphis, Portland, or even Sacramento.  I don't understand how you could even envision AI playing team basketball when he has never done it before.

His shooting has always come in bunches and this has allowed him to be effective in this league.  The Pistons' team makeup doesn't allow for this type of player. "Wait till next year" is what the Cubs have been telling me all of my life, so in the words of Donald Trump, "You're Fired!"

That's reason No. 1. Reason No. 2 was the fact that he allowed Melo to go to Denver with the THIRD PICK in the draft because he thought Tayshaun Prince was the man?

WOW.

I would think you would pick the best talent in the draft, not decide what the best fit for your team is when drafting players.  Tayshaun is a great defender for his position, but Melo would have given you a franchise player to build pieces around.  Rip would still be Rip, and you would be playing the Magic this series instead of bowing out to the Cavs in four games.

This is just my opinion, and I can't wait to see what the Pistons do this summer.
