International Object | Issue 2: Sport & Exhibition

International Object is a continual journal of essays on professional wrestling written by K Sawyer Paul. 

The topic of issue 2 is Sport & Exhibition. The issue features three articles on the subjects of Cirque Du Soliel, American Professional Football, and UFC Mixed Martial Arts as they pertain and compare to professional wrestling.

AMERICAN FOOTBALL: A case study from 2007 involving professional football player Adam “Pacman” Jones and his time spent in Total Nonstop Wrestling, involving the pros and cons of co-mingling athletes and wrestlers.

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS AND THE AMERICAN DREAM: Documenting the rise of UFC in the 21st century and the failure of wrestling to represent the American man in the new millennium. (this article will be unlocked on May 1st).
