Citi Field Review: Are Open Concourses a Bad Idea?

I was at Citi Field last night wondering...are open concourses a bad idea?

We all know about Yankee Stadium's problems.

It was quite windy at Citi.  The winds were swirling and it's affecting play—you can really see the players struggling with fly balls.

It was what, 87 degrees yesterday?   The weather was nice but I can't imagine the wind chills come October.  Much like I did at Shea, I will bring a jacket to Flushing regardless of the forecast.

No Sweet Caroline last night but we did have dopey hybrid hats.  The noise pollution (loud music, less organ) is starting to creep in.  There's a new version of Everybody Clap Your Hands!  Get some hits and we'll clap.

Made my first trip to the Shake Shack.  It's everything you've heard.  I don't know if anything is worth a 30-minute wait, but if you're inclined, go "chalk" and get burger, fries, shake.  $17.
