Boston Bruins vs. New York Rangers Game 4: Live Score, Updates and Analysis

Franklin Steele@FranklinSteeleAnalyst IIMay 23, 2013

Overtime of Game 4 between the Boston Bruins and the New York Rangers is over and Chris Kreider is the hero for the Blueshirts. That goal gave New York their first lead of the game, and sent the teams back to Boston for a Game 5 on Saturday.

The Rangers began the third period down by a goal, but Derek Stepan quickly tied things up on a rare miscue from Zdeno Chara.

That was just the beginning of a wild period that would see the Bruins regain the one-goal lead on a Tyler Seguin goal, only to lose the lead again when Brian Boyle scored for the Rangers on the power play.

The teams traded chances in overtime, and the Rangers steal a game from the jaws of defeat while Henrik Lundqvist finally gets a few goals to support his goaltending.

Boston Bruins 3, New York Rangers 4 (FINAL)
