14-6! FIRST PLACE STILL! SIX STRAIGHT SERIES WINS! BLUE JAY FEVER!

Dan VerhaegheApr 26, 2009

[Sic], that coffee was a bad idea, it's 3:05 AM and I'm still awake...

But hey, despite the ghastly hour, I JUST WANT JOHN MCDONALD TO START A GAME! I miss the Prime Minister of Defense and his amazing plays (we saw one over the weekend in a blowout).

If you're playing fantasy baseball, every Blue Jay player is a viable option offensively! And most pitchers are too! Rod Barajas went 3 for 4 today, and you know, for a catcher, he's pretty hot, and there aren't too many OFFENSIVE catchers, so get him!

Boston won their 10th straight game. Toronto's still ahead by a game though, and four ahead of the Bronx Bombers. You've got to realize, the sweep of the Yankees has turned the East into a two-man race for the time being, the loser being in the wild card position...so it's not all bad news for the red hot Jays who have put up TWO 7-3 marks to be 14-6. Slice it how you want, 8 wins in the last 11 games.

Aaron Hill and Alex Rios have hitting streaks going! Roy Halladay dominated the White Sox after being rusty early, and the Jays seemingly have an unbeatable front four in their bullpen in Jesse Carlson, Scott Downs, Jason Frasor and Brandon League.

Kansas City is the next test....Zach Greinke- can the Jays [sic] him up too?????

That orange button's begging me to hit Publish Post, so I will....

And until Monday night, folks, just until, I've got a life and a 26C day to celebrate, along with my final week until that summer job driving around southern ontario starts....I'll let you know the [sic] up things I see along the way- Jays related, of course.

An urban legend once stated that Gaston was like the Chuck Norris of baseball, Gaston was the best because he got the most out of his players.
