Reds vs. Astros, Take 2!

A "Reds Killer" if there ever was one.
Johnny Cueto squares off against โReds Killerโ (George Grande reference) Roy Oswalt in a rematch from earlier this month. ย Though Oswalt outmatched Cueto and the Reds the last time, he ended up with a no decision. ย But donโt worry! ย His record of dominance suffered no scars as heโs still 23-1 in 29 games verses the Reds. ย 23-1???? ย Are you kidding me??? ย No, but I wish I were. ย Iโm also not kidding about his career 2.39 ERA against the Reds. ย Hopefully the Johnny Cueto we saw in Chicagoย will show up tonight. ย If so, I have to say I like our chances. ย However, the Reds have to bring the same bats with them for Cueto as they did last time, too. ย If the Reds can go with the same plan as their last Oswalt encounter and knock him out early enough to see plenty of bullpen, they stand a darn good chance at getting the win. ย Itโs no secret that the Strosโ lackluster pen is their greatest weakness. ย Valverde has blown 2 saves (give one of those to Jerry Hairston Jr.) already while Byrdak, Geary, and Hawkins have blown a save apiece themselves. ย
Letโs hope the Reds get their bats fired up early tonight so they can salvage whatโs left of this home stand. ย
GO REDS!!!
