New Ballparks Page, State of the Reds
I took some time to list and review the ballparks Iโve been to and included some pictures. ย I also listed my top 10 hit list of parks I want to see in the future, as well as some parks that Iโve seen, but havenโt witnessed a game at. ย ย
Anyway, I figure I can take some time and talk about the Reds while Iโm at it. ย John Fay seems to believe weโll see a different lineup tonight, and letโs hope heโs right. ย Ramon Hernandez seems like a viable option for the 6 hole or even cleanup right now. ย Edwin has one hit in his last 28 attempts and heโs batting .127 overall. ย When asked about Encarnacion, Dusty said,ย โItโs not only Edwin. ย Thereโs a couple of guys weโve got to get going.โ ย Do you think he could be talking about Brandon Phillips? ย I donโt knowโฆ ย
I was talking about Wes Bankston and Adam Rosales yesterday. ย Apparently another guy who is begging to be mentioned is outfielder Chris Heisey. ย John Fay, Redleg Nation, and RedsMinorLeagues.com believe that he might be surpassing Drew Stubbs as the Reds future in CF. ย Heโs batting .373 to lead the Southern League right now. ย Itโs nice to have some good news on the farm when the big boys are struggling. ย
My boy, Danny Dorn, seems to be struggling a bit down in Louisville. ย Heโs currently hitting .218/.250/.309.ย That's not good. ย But you know what? ย Itโs early in the season and this is too early to start freaking out over players like Dorn, who have hit everywhere theyโve been. ย Thereโs no doubt in my mind heโll be raising that average up about 50 points before this seasonโs all said and done. ย
Back to the majors. ย Aaron Harang is THE MAN! ย Heโs going to show up tonight and the offense will too (I hope to God that it does). ย Mark it down, the Reds are winning this game tonight! ย Oh yeah, have I mentioned how much my man-crush on Joey Votto has grown this year? ย Itโs scary, people.
