Boston Three Party: Three Main Reasons New England Will Be a Threat.
April 28, 2009
New England suffered a great loss in the 2008 season. Brady suffered a torn ACL in his left knee on a low hit by Bernard Pollard with 7:27 left in the first quarter of the Kansas City game in week one.
Well, we all know what happened after that. Matt Cassel's career sky rocketed, but New England fell short of a divisional title.
Now fast forward to 2009. With the additions of Fred Taylor, Shawn Springs, Leigh Bodden, and Joey Galloway, the Patriots will be sure fill the gaps and lighten the weight on Brady's shoulders.
Now with the return of an MVP and a wide range of very intelligent draft picks (by Bill Belichick), New England is bound to make some noise.
Patrick Chung out of Oregon, as well as Brandon Meriweather, might be the next Rodney Harrison of Boston.
Now that Brady has a solid running game behind him, he is set to pick apart defenses. Fred Taylor and Sammy Morris are bound to be the new duo of the run game.
