The No. 1 seed in the West, San Jose, has their back up against the wall. Down 3-2 in the series, they are in a must-win situation again here tonight against 8th seeded Anaheim.

Pride is on the line, and I think they’ll step it up tonight and win big.

San Jose still has a better road record (22-21) than Anaheim’s home record (21-22). Sharks are 22-6 in their last 28 Monday games.

The Sharks are 21-9 in their last 30 Conference quarterfinals games, and 39-17 in their last 56 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. They  are 49-23 in their last 72 games after allowing two goals or fewer in their previous game, and 72-35 in their last 107 games as a favorite.

The Ducks are 4-10 in their last 14 vs. a team with a winning percentage above .600, and 1-4 in their last five home games vs. a team with a winning road record. The road team is 6-2 in the last eight meetings between these two teams.

We’ll recommend a small play on San Jose tonight. Thanks, and good luck!
