Browns' Draft Review: "I Hate To Say I Told You So"

The Browns' brain trust had no other choice but to trade down.  Rumors of Kokinis' frustration with handling of past personnel led to the shocking moves.

Robiskie will start from day one, he will be embraced at a greater level than Edwards. In a contract year, look for No. 17 to catch everything out of the air.

Alex Mack's selection shows the NFL that Cleveland will field one of the toughest O-Lines this season.

'09 Projected Starters: LT Joe Thomas, LG Eric Steinbach, C Hank Fraley/Alex Mack, RG "Pork Chop" Womack/Alex Mack, RT John St.Clair.

Whichever quarterback is under center, he will have time and protection to execute—on paper.

Five players for Mark Sanchez was not a bad deal at all.  The idea of holding the fifth pick for ransom was great, although my thoughts on Sanchez remain. Only Mangini has to feel that Brett Ratliff is good enough to compete for the starting quarterback position of the Cleveland Browns.  

Browns fans remember the Jets preseason game of last year. Ratliff was remarkable, although it was second, third, and fourth string competition. 

You heard it here first, in '09 Brett Ratliff will be the starter for the Cleveland Browns.  He has a pretty deep ball, makes all the throws, and knows the offense, I could go on and on. 

It's a bold statement, but I am going to stand on it.
