MMA Writer's Tournament Finals
It has finally come down to this, the finals of the MMA writer's tournament. It started with 16 of the best writers in the community, it went down to eight, then four, and now that the smoke has settled and only two are left standing.
There were shocking upsets, falling outs between some writers and even people quitting the competition on our way to crown the best.
The time is upon us.
Jessy Morris vs. Brian Oswald
This is it, the final two left standing. Two of the top writers in the community clashing in the finals. Jessy Morris passed to the finals with victories over Sean Schimling, Derek Bolender, and finally Nate Double while Brian made it to the finals with wins over Jaime Moreno, Flyin' Hawaiin, and Mike Leanza.
Both writers have one article of the day and are getting closer and closer to their 100th article. Brian recently elevated himself by becoming the new community leader and continues to be a force in the section.
Jessy is arguably the most creative writer to come to Bleacher Report in awhile and has evolved as a writer so much in the past months on his way to making the top five of the community rankings.
Who will be crowned the winner?
I also wanted to say on my behalf, that I am honored to be in the finals. Like me or hate me, I think I worked hard to get in the top five of the MMA rankings. When I first started this concept, I never imagined myself in the finals. Looking at the seeding I thought the semi-finals would be the best I could do if I ever got there. My biggest victory was without a doubt the one against Derek. I still can't believe I made it past him, but my creativity was probably what did it.
I think Brian feels the same way about this as I do. Thanks a lot for the votes, it's truly appreciated.
