2013 NFL Draft Grades: Overall Report Cards for All 32 Franchises

There's no going back now. The 2013 NFL draft is in the books. The selection process is history and all that's left to do is see how each NFL rookie pans out at the next level.

A number of teams aced the draft this spring, making great picks for both value and need. Meanwhile, some others will wish they could do it all again. 

It's in that spirit that we hand out draft grades to each team.

Let's take a look at how all 32 NFL franchises fared in this year's NFL draft, highlighting a trio of teams that did an excellent job of meeting their needs over the weekend.

Baltimore Ravens: A

The reigning Super Bowl champions lost a ton of firepower this offseason, but maintained that they had a plan. Well, now it seems we know what that plan was: Get younger and build through the draft.

Baltimore made a brilliant move with the last pick in the first round, drafting Florida safety Matt Elam, a hard-hitting defender who plays with the viciousness and confidence of a Raven.

In the second round, the Ravens added another big-time piece to their defense, selecting Kansas State linebacker Arthur Brown. Then, in Rounds 3 and 4, Baltimore kept the theme alive, picking up two more defensive players in defensive tackle Brandon Williams and defensive end John Simon.

The defense is going to look a whole lot different in Charm City next season as the Ravens begin the post-Ray Lewis era, but following a draft like this one, the results may be the same.

St. Louis Rams: A-

Coming into the draft, the St. Louis Rams had big needs at safety and wide receiver. 

The good news is that the Rams addressed them both within the first three rounds, trading up to No. 8 to select West Virginia speedster Tavon Austin in Round 1, and then landing USC safety T.J. McDonald in Round 3.

In between those two selections, St. Louis added tremendous value with Georgia linebacker Alec Ogletree at No. 30 overall. The Rams had a need at outside linebacker so that move is one that should pay off.

Right before the end of the third round, the Rams picked up Austin's former West Virginia teammate Stedman Bailey, a wide receiver who put up big numbers with the Mountaineers in Morgantown. Bailey led all West Virginia receivers with 1,627 yards and 25 touchdowns in 2012.

Jeff Fisher's squad has certainly positioned itself to improve upon its 7-8-1 mark from a year ago.

Tennessee Titans: A

The Tennessee Titans were one of the few teams this year that addressed each area of need through the draft.

After selecting Alabama's Chance Warmack No. 10 overall, the Titans should field one of the league's best guard tandems in 2013. Remember, Tennessee signed veteran Andy Levitre to help out on the offensive line back in March.

In Round 2, the Titans stayed close to home, drafting Tennessee wide receiver Justin Hunter, securing another target for Jake Locker next season.

Three other needs for Tennessee at defensive end, cornerback and safety were all addressed over the course of the final five rounds. The Titans selected UConn corner Blidi Wreh-Wilson in Round 3, LSU defensive end Lavar Edwards in Round 5 and Nebraska safety Daimion Stafford in Round 7.

With AFC South rival Indianapolis having a disappointing draft, perhaps the Titans can challenge the Colts and Houston Texans for the division crown in 2013.
