Daniel Bryan's 7 Funniest WWE Moments
Daniel Bryan is the world's first flying goat, the world's toughest vegan and the WWE's funniest star.
Early on, Bryan drew comparisons to Chris Benoit. He was seen as an elite technical wrestler with the charisma of cardboard. Bryan has spent the last two years demolishing that preconception with some of the funniest segments the company has seen in recent years.
His odd-couple partnership with Kane has produced moments of hilarity, but Bryan has also used stints at the announce table, online talent shows and his role as NXT mentor to build a growing comedic resume.
Want someone to deliver a fantastic match with just about anybody on the roster? Bryan's your man. Want someone to ride goofy charm to the height of entertainment? Bryan is the man for that job as well.
The following are his funniest segments and performances since joining the company, a mix of the ridiculous and the even more ridiculous.
7. Arguments with Fans
1 of 7The fans say "yes." Daniel Bryan says "no." Repeat. It's not what you would call smart humor, but it was hard not to laugh when Bryan got into these altercations.
His all-in approach to the moment, as well as the silliness of the situation, made this a fun thing for fans to do and a funny scene to watch unfold. With as close as his face was to the fans' faces, there are plenty of kissing and beard jokes to be made.
Michael Cole's thoughts on it in this video are only, "Um…"
6. Diagrams!
2 of 7In preparation for his big match in London with Undertaker and Kane against The Shield, Daniel Bryan apparently got organized and detail-organized. Undertaker's absence made him anxious. How were they going to go over the diagrams he’d made?
Fans clung to that concept, curious about what Bryan had composed on his stack of papers. Wrestling Memes shared an image of what the diagrams might have looked like.
"I got a sneak peak at @wwedanielbryan 's diagrams for his tactics vs the shield #raw #wwe twitter.com/Wrestling_Meme…

Kane adds some nice lines as well like saying Undertaker "doesn't exactly carry a cell phone." All the hug talk that follows makes this even better. It's one of the more low-key bits he's done, but one of the best.
5. B-Dazzle and Kurly Kane
3 of 7After impressing as the bumbling magician, The Dazzler, on The JBL & Cole Show, Bryan joined his tag team partner Kane in an atrocious attempt at rapping.
Competing with Yoshi Tatsu's guitar playing, Bryan morphed into the gold chain-wearing B-Dazzle. The overwhelmingly silly bit also features Kane in a red Kangol hat as The Big Red Machine provided the beat-boxing.
Bryan goes full force with his ridiculous song, having it reach its maximum fun potential.
A Hornswoggle physical comedy moment is thrown in for good measure.
4. Hug It Out
4 of 7For the first time in WWE history, a hug was the highlight of a WWE Raw episode.
WWE fans had a choice. They could vote to see Kane and Daniel Bryan fight each other, form a tag team or hug it out. Those bloodthirsty, Attitude Era-craving fans went with option three.
The awkwardness of the segment pulsates on screen. The Miz's exuberant commentary makes it even funnier. Miz constantly laid out the rules of a hug-it-out. "You need to lock arms," he said matter-of-factly.
3. Evaluation
5 of 7Before Daniel Bryan formed a tag team with Kane, before he ever met Harold or ate a meatball in an attempt to understand his partner, he was subjected to a psychological evaluation on live TV.
In an attempt to prove that he wasn't crazy and that he didn't have anger issues, Bryan yelled "yes" at the doctor interviewing him as loudly as he could. Having his Rorschach test look like a cartoon goat face didn't help matters.
Bryan's use of his brief heat with Charlie Sheen is brilliant.
This was one of Bryan's first chances to show us just how entertaining he could be without a throwing a single kick or pulling back on a single limb.
2. Anger Management Sessions
6 of 7Team Hell No has given fans several great matches during its time together, but it has been Daniel Bryan and Kane's anger management sessions which have been their best work. Many of 2012's most entertaining moments came from those sessions with Dr. Shelby.
Bryan and Kane shared anger collages. They did role-play exercises at a local diner. Bryan lost his mind at the sight of a kid in a goat mask, leading him to scream, "I am handsome!"
For several weeks in a row, their skits with Dr. Shelby and Harold were the best part of WWE Raw. The originality of the segments was great, but both of the tag team champions also excelled in their roles. Bryan showcased his comedic skills, adding to his value to the company in a major way.
1. Bears
7 of 7If you happened to be one of the few adults who caught this particular episode of Saturday Morning Slam live, you were treated to hilarity in surplus.
While providing guest commentary, Daniel Bryan revealed an obsession with bears, something that permeated through the whole episode. "Wrestling Tensai is like wrestling a bear," he said. He went on to hammer that joke in at every possible opportunity.
According to Bryan, Arn Anderson and Stu Hart both wrestled bears. Bryan listed off every bear he could think of and pounced on every bear pun within reach.
The best moment of the bunch is his overly excited reaction to seeing a bear hug used in the ring.
