Billy Beane should be proud of himself. He has no created the worst team in baseball for 2009.

For one he kept manager Bob Geren around for another one to two years. When in actuality he should have been fired long ago.

The second part is Beane continues to create a culture of losers. A team that plays with no heart and no emotion.

Beane continues to revamp the team but instead of getting major league talent he keeps on fixing the farm system. Last time I checked Billy the goal was to field the best team on the field.

It's been clear since Geren has become manager of the A's that the A's haven't been putting out their best team. Their teams have continued to decline.

Luckily this year the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have continued to struggle, but the way the A's have been playing with poor execution, piss poor hitting, and decent pitching the A's aren't going far.
