Ring Rap With Matt: Smackdown Review 4/24/09

Hello everyone and thank you once again for spending some time with me .I hope you have a happy and safe weekend.

Well its Friday night so you know that means.Its time for Friday night Smackdown.Or if you actually have a life your probably out doing something fun.But enough of that nonsense ,because the fire works are shootin and we are about to be edgucated by Edge Sorry I know that was bad.

Edge starts off admitting that yes everything Cena said was right . That's right folks Edge is a little scurd and desperate.He goes on to point out that he has given Cena everything he could,but like a roach just wont go away.

Edge then states that things have changed now.We see the highlights from last week where Cena gets the conchairto and Edge counts to ten .On a personal night I'm glad to see that he can count it shows that a EDGUCATION can pay off .Sorry I went there again lol.

A nice strait faced promo going into backlash as it added some desperatly needed juice into that match.

Matt Hardy ,Kane vs CM Punk and Jeff Hardy

Good tag action all the way lots of quick tags with  both teams.Hardy and punk score a nice double drop kick and DDT on Kane.Jeff scores a nice looking whisper in the wind of the top,But in the end Matt reverses Jeff's twist of fate.Then  pushes him into kane  matt then gets the roll up pin for the 1 2 3.

On a side note Jr kept mentioning how Matt only attacks Jeff when he is already down.Just some food for thought didn't Matt win a clean WM25 match and stretcher match  against his Bro.

We come back to a overwinded Orton Backlash promo .Lets hope this all ends at Backlash.

Big show vs Undertaker

Decent action for the big guys it starts of slow with lots of headbutts and jabs But shapes up nicely in the end.Big show reverses takers choke slam then gets one for his troubles for the near count.Taker scores a nice DDT on Show.

Taker finally goes for some old school but gets nailed in the temple.Show then gives him another right to the back of the head .The ref ends the match stating taker cant go on.He sells the punch drunk look afterwords well.Good match and a good send of for the Big Show to RAW.

Gail Kim vs Maryse for the Diva championship.

This was a short but solid effort for both gals.Gail hits a nice cross body from the top and nice Huricarana .Later Maryse trys to leave but is brought back.Maryse then drops Kim on the second rope brings her back in hits the french kiss AKA Roberts DDT for the 1 2 3.

The WWE is really dropping the ball not giving these Lady's enough attention.No PPV match this Sunday ?And I cant remember the last time they had a Lady's headliner on prime time.

We are next treated with a lame Jeff promo for Backlash .

MVP vs Chavo Guerrero

Another quicky here at least they let Chavo get in some offense .MVP goes ballin and all that jazz and beats Chavo.Ziggler comes out and cuts a short promo for next Friday at MSG.

Cena gives us his final  follow up promo for his last man standing match .He compares it to the SOX and Yanks  rivalry .Cena then states he is gonna go all out and be the last man standing at Backlash.

Spare me this rivilry doesnt even crack my top ten.

Shane o Mack  and Batista vs Legacy

I was pleasantly surprised an all in all good match Shane looked  a lot  better .He nails a nice backwards flying elbow and arm drag take down.Batista looked crisp he hit his high powered stuff.Legacy looked good but that is no surprise their.

In the end Batista nails a spine buster and Shano rolls on Cody for the pin.

My final thoughts on tonight's action was positive.Good ring work by all again ,and a nice build up for Backlash. Editors please be kind to me lol I know my grammar sucks .And feel free to send a post on this to give your thoughts and opinions.
