Watch High-Flyer Gerald Green Destroy the Rim Against the Hawks
The Indiana Pacers used their Game 2 matchup against the Atlanta Hawks as a stage to record their official tryout for next year's dunk contest, this time Gerald Green getting in on the act.
I mean come on, you can't have a Pacers game chocked full of dunks without Green taking off from his spring-like legs and completely smashing an opponent.
Not to be out-done by Roy Hibbert (who put an end to Ivan Johnson's respectability and made a three-pointer in the first quarter of the game), Green was determined to find a dunk victim of his own.
Green went about one-upping Hibbert, seeking out Josh Smith in the post and taking a dunk directly into his chest.

"The Hawks cannot stop the Pacers offense. Let that sink in.

"Gerald Green is also here to contribute to our collection of nasty playoff dunk GIFs. sbn.to/ZPCmCL

This entire first week of the playoffs has been a spectacular showcase in athleticism and showmanship, with dunks piling up, and game-winning shots falling at a much higher rate than normal.
Surprising as it may seem, Atlanta-Indiana has been a fun series despite the Pacers' dominance.
I know it's going to be hard to pry anybody away from watching the Houston Rockets playing the Oklahoma City Thunder live, but at least set that DVR for these Pacers-Hawks games. They've been entertaining so far.
