Roy Hibbert Dunks All over Ivan Johnson's Face
In the early stages of a surprisingly entertaining series Wednesday night, Hawks center Johan Petro whips his matador cape around a bit and puts some textbook "olé" defense on Roy Hibbert, letting him completely blow by as George Hill slides a pass down to him as he cuts on by.
All Ivan Johnson can do, standing helplessly in the restricted circle, is jam his eyelids closed, toss his hands up and hope that this doesn't end in exactly the way it looked like it would end.
"Roy Hibbert actually did something cool that wasn't Parks and Rec.

"Ivan Johnson got Jammed.

Don't cry for Ivan Johnson. Thanks to Petro he was already dead, and everybody in the arena noticed it.
The huge slam created such an uproar that even the cotton candy guy had to take a break from being an adamant professional to turn around and take a look at the carnage, while the Pacers band went absolutely bonkers.
Strangely, this wasn't even the most amazing play Hibbert unleashed in the first quarter against the Hawks.
"Roy Hibbert just banked in a three at an impossible angle while fading out of bounds to ned the first. This, officially, is his night.
— Jared Wade (@8pts9secs) April 25, 2013"
So it was a normal night for Hibbert, doing things on offense that electrified the crowd and sent Twitter howling.
I'm sure there are a ton more Hibbert posterizations and rain-inducing three-pointers on the way in this series.
